Testimonials

After Judith had delivered Bee Aware I was amazed to find that staff who previously appeared to have no motivation for their work were now nearly fighting (in a good way) about who was going to do what job. Staff have not only taken responsibility for the environment but have gained renewed enthusiasm for their work.

Lindsay Bellis, Halton Lea Shopping Centre

Rochdale Exchange signed up to the Bee Aware initiative in September 2008. I was most impressed with the motivational aspect of the Bee Aware Ambassador training which has worked wonders in strengthening our staff’s approach to working as a team.  Communication between all of our staff has greatly improved through working together and understanding that each job title presents its own challenges and rewards.  Awareness of the gains to be made by approaching everything with a positive frame of mind has certainly made a difference and given added value to the whole initiative.

When morale was at a very low ebb amongst our market traders we approached WAM to find ways of turning around negative attitudes and dealing with the many challenges that lay ahead within the current economic climate. The Bee Aware initiative certainly encouraged our market traders to become involved with, and not excluded from, promotional activity in the Rochdale Exchange.  Motivation levels have been raised to such an extent that, spurred on by increases in sales, 4 months down the line, the market traders are now coming up with their own ideas and initiatives to promote the markets.
