Last of the Summer Wine at the Design House

The Design House at Dean Clough saw our first evening of entertainment on Monday the 21st January 2008. Guests enjoyed a wonderful three course meal and were highly entertained by a great friend of mine (and Location Manager) Sylvia Kendall who gave freely of her time to share with us a behind the scenes glimpse of the cast and crew from the worlds longest running comedy series Last of the Summer Wine.

The evening was a huge success and we raised a staggering £850, and with HBOS offering to matchfund up to £500 in total we will have raised £1,350.

A big thank you to everyone who helped us to reach this figure. Behind the scenes there were a number of people who deserve our special thanks for helping to make the evening possible including,

The BBC and Sylvia Kendall, Gary Broadbent from GB Installations, Chris Hall from Lambert Print and Design, Junction 32 Outlet Village and The Design House Restaurant.
